We had high expectations for this one, but unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. While a nicely made wine, for the price it was certainly nothing spectacular - certainly, the everyday Borsao that we like so much was just as good at half the price.
A bit more robust that the Borsao, it had the same bright fruit with a bit more of the darker fruit - plum and black cherry - but still fairly "jammy". Hints of spice and licorice, but very subtle.
